They have no basis whatsoever for the first claim; in fact, hasn't Trump been donating his salary to some charity? As for the second claim, it might be a reference to the emoluments clause, which the loony left claims applies to foreign diplomats staying in Trump hotels. They are calling these normal business transactions "payoffs."
