People think she is picking up info from Mark Judge’s book. He worked at the Safeway, I guess.

I chose the wrong door because the door I chose was the one where Mark Judge — it looked like he was working there and arranging the shopping carts.”
“I said hello to him, and his face was white and very uncomfortable saying hello back,” she continued. “And we had previously been friendly at the times that we saw each other over the previous two years. . . . I wouldn’t characterize him as not friendly, he was just nervous and not really wanting to speak with me. He looked a little bit ill.”
Why would you say Hi to your attacker? (She initiated the hello) She was with her mom why didn’t she say something to her?
“He worked at Safeway, I guess”
That’s interesting.
I remember she said something like, ‘if I could figure out when Mark Judge worked at ____, then I could figure out when it happened.’
And judge’s book was never billed as a solid account but a generalized/fictionalized one to tell his story but with names changed, etc.
Well, apparently the Mark Judge book isn’t actually a memoir, it is a fiction he wrote as part of his therapy when dealing with his drinking problems.
It mirrors his life, but is not a literal documentation of his life. I read that he DID work in the safeway at some point.
So it is telling if Ford is claiming as fact things that, in Judge’s book, were the fictional representations.
