I was in a small town in Oklahoma when a prominent threw a big drinking bash on there farm for the football team and their girls. Right in the Bible Belt.

Same thing happened with the doctor who lived next door. He came around to all the neighbors and *warned* of the party. He promised he would be taking all the kids’ car keys when they arrived. I explained/protested that people in the house needed to get their sleep for work the next day.
During the party the kids were lighting up MJ in the gazebo; the music was extremely loud; [just so happened the breadwinner of the house had to get some sleep, and couldn’t for a 4:00 am work shift].
After so many hours, I called the local constables, mostly b/c the cars were parked on both sides of a narrow country road; if a firetruck/first responder needed to get through, they wouldn’t be able to, as this lane ended in a dead end/cul de sac.
Constables didn’t come after more than a few requests.
But the state police did. I learned later that one of the more senior constable’s son was at the party.
Word among the kids about the drink-drug fest spread fast and there were HS teens there from as far away as Rhode Island. [B4 social media] It got out of control; and eventually dispersed by the staties.
From what I heard the revelers trashed the house. That made me smile a Karma smile.
