We dont live in a racially neutral society: from police officers to headteachers, all the gatekeepers in my life have been white. Yet we do have to acknowledge those who feel they lose out to ethnic minorities
Most white people dont see themselves as racist. They can comfortably reel off a list of people of colour they know, like, or maybe even love. They cant think of a time when theyve negatively discriminated against someone on the grounds of their race. And they dont see, in a concrete way, how their own race has positively affected them.
More than that, when people imagine a racist, they probably envisage a white skinhead sat in a pub ready to start a fight with the first black or brown person who walks through the door. Thats a convenient picture to conjure up its pretty easy to comfort yourself that youre nothing at all like that awful bastard.
In fact, though, everyone of whatever colour is racist. As part of a TV documentary Ive been working on, Ive seen how our brains have a tendency to automatically associate our own race with good and other races with bad, whoever we are....

And yet his tagline is so ... godly.
Listening to Brits calling cookies ‘biscuits’ and potato chips ‘crisps’ get annoying quickly ;^D
The author’s entire philosophy rests upon the idea that white people have a duty towards non-whites. What happens when white people finally say “No, we don’t”, and decide there’s nothing wrong with liking your own kind?
And, Japanese/Asian chicks can be ultra hot. Same with Pacific islander chicks.
Seems to be a mutual attraction. Lots of blond chicks in Hawaii married to Hawaiian dudes, and same-same for white dudes and Hawaiian/Asian mix chicks.
The other major ethnic group, do not want, and I am not in a minority there.
Which begs the question: to who?
This is just a slightly more nuanced version of "It's not racism when WE do it."
Intellectually empty and morally offensive.
My observation here it that this describes the type of stuff we ignored on the way to focusing on what was needed to be achieved to be successful.
Now another way has developed to be successful. In this scenario people manipulate the actions of others by being offended, slighted, discourage, and thereby obtain control over their behavior. Now people never need aspire beyond an entry level government union job.
Haha...I can’t understand them zany limeys half the time. They need to learn the President’s English, if you ask me.
We used to call that the "white man's burden."
Exactly right, Retain Mike. We need to quit ignoring stuff.
As the great philosopher, Mr. T., once said, “That’s just jibber jabber!”
Yeah, I noticed that too o.O
Oh I forgot to mention that they call fries ‘chips’.
I think we need to teach THEM English ;)
Is it the sucking motion or what?
ROTFLMAO ;D
And must therefor be, the natural order of things.
I am sick and tired of having my nose rubbed in the race card. When I react against those who use the race card I, myself, am accused of racism. These race card virtuosos are doing it to incite, which is the strategy of the Nazis to create a reaction to justify their violence against their social targets.
All creatures of the animal kingdom have the survival mechanism to discriminate. The young of the animal kingdom know who is their protective parent. Any other is a threat. This ability to know who is their parent is so precise, they know which one is their parent even though they have an identical appearance, like the penguin.
I remember, as a young child, that I had a mortal fear of anyone who did not look like my parents. This fear was not taught, it was automatic. We have fears of many things that are not taught. Spiders, heights, the dark and that monster under my bed. Charging one of racism is criticizing them of being human. Teaching one that there is nothing to fear is the civilized way to deal with it.
Spot on!
