Players certainly have first amendment rights like everyone else. But it is accepted workplace procedure all over America that you don’t discuss politics or religion while at work or when representing the company anywhere. Perhaps if these pampered, naive athletes who’ve never had to spend time in the real workplaces of our country, had had to work in their lives they would understand this principle.
