I agree. Marriage becomes less and less a desirable option because of negative attitudes towards men, divorce laws that are skewed against men, easier access to sex outside of marriage, lack of career opportunity for men, etc.
Society has changed, the interactions between the two sexes has changed, birth control is better than ever, abortion as a back up is legal and easily available. There are a whole host of things which have changed in society, to cause us to get to this point.
