Anti-Trump Protesters Attack Democracy in San Jose
The Atlantic ^ | June 3, 2016 | Conor Friedersdorf

Posted on 06/04/2016 2:05:16 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Many Donald Trump supporters are justifiably upset about these attacks—and if they are, they should look more closely at what their own candidate has said and done.

In San Jose on Thursday, a volatile crowd outside a Donald Trump rally assaulted numerous attendees. They punched a man in the face, knocking him to the ground; bloodied another man by bludgeoning the side of his head with a duffel bag; trapped a woman against a glass door, pelting her with an egg and other objects; snatched a cap off a man’s head, lighting it afire on the street soon afterward; and perpetrated other hateful acts against total strangers, with many fellow protesters cheering them on and a brave few fervently pleading for nonviolence.

The bad actors in San Jose should be arrested, prosecuted, jailed, and broadly condemned. In addition to attacking fellow human beings, they did violence to the shared right to assemble. They assaulted the American inheritance of a politics that is decided peaceably at the ballot box by the people, not in the streets through force or intimidation.....

Ah yes, Donald Trump has committed the heinous crime of insisting that American immigration laws be enforced. How reckless and hateful of him...

Vote Trump!

The problem is, many, if not most of these miscreants, aren’t Americans. They are either here illegally, or owe an allegiance to a foreign country. Most of the others are homegrown radicals, brainwashed by decades of leftist propaganda on TV, movies, in the schools, and in the churches.

Another dishonest, slanted piece from the Atlantic. Why do people in FR post this trash from places like Atlantic, the Slimes, Vox, Salon...

I like this comment from the article:

“”...By using the preferred approach of the Donald Trump supporter who infamously sucker punched a peaceful protester, another execrable actor who ought to serve jail time for his inexcusable thuggery...”

Conor Friedersdorf is about as dishonest a “journalist” I can think of - but this is par for the course for the Atlantic.

Like Hitler - he prefers to go for the “big lie” as being the most effective.

In fact, there have been scores of incidents of violence on the campaign trail - in many cities all across the country - from Chicago, to the Carolinas, to California ( in multiple locations in CA ) to Arizona and New Mexico.

From cars vandalized to cops bloodied with thrown bottles to Trump supporters beaten bloody on numerous occasions.

ALL of them have been pro-Democratic and/or anti-Trump initiated.

Yet Conor persists with his dishonest smear - highlighting one semi-comical incident where a 75-year-old Trump supporter pushed a disruptive agitator who was being led out of a Trump rally.”

Oh, the precious hand-wringing and pearl-clutching going on over at the Atlantic. Deploring “violence” whilst blaming it on Trump supporters. It’s another stupid ass meme just like the “violent and racist Tea Partiers” they wore out a while back.

Retribution is coming. Savage, bloody and unrepentant. And once it starts, it won’t stop. Best not to be in the middle of it. But if you must participate, do so at range. 142 or 168 grains at a time.

These people just cant help it.

They all now want to condemn the attacks, but want to toss the attackers a bone, and still blame it on Trump!

A California Libertarian, probably gay, first gig was with *Andrew Sullivan* after college graduation, at the Daily Dish. One column was on gays and trannies. Claims “conservative leanings” but non-doctrinaire.

A young Leftist, representative of an all Leftist academic indoctrination, spreading the same empty message, but not worthy of discussion.

Why the ATLANTIC would let him go to print with this piece is only slightly more interesting.

Excellent retort. After all, Cruz blamed Trump for the terrorist attacks in Brussels. I still can’t figure out that twist of logic.

My comment is that you really need to stop posting ANTI-TRUMP articles, written by idiots!

Cruz lost, get over it, and posting this kind of bilge only makes you a damned TROLL; one who keeps posting crap to incite flame wars and tear down Trump.

Wrong! Anti-Trump protesters show what Democracy truly is in San Jose...mob rule.

...the shared right to assemble.

Which comes from the Constitution of our Constitutional Republic, not our Democracy.

******************************

He has said that fraudulently documented foreigners should be kicked out of the country and they are ticked off about it.

Tough.

Stand Tall Mr. Trump

American citizens want to keep the rule of law.
