By evolving science to incorporate the idea of universal consciousness and by injecting science in an inner-faith dialog of all of our spiritual differences, we can begin to realize that we are all indeed a one world family and begin to heal.

Go preach that kumbaya stuff in Gaza and see what happens.

Good! Let all socialists vote for Sanders, if he runs third party.

I turn 56 in a few weeks and I’ve never even bothered to register to vote before because I’ve always suspected something that so many people are finding out to be true this year; that we do not live in an authentic democracy and haven’t for a very long time.

Stopped reading after that. If the author doesn't know what kind of government we have (a constitutional republic, not an "authentic democracy"), then anything he says after that is not worth reading.

If he’s 55, he didn’t lose any high school friends in Vietnam. This is where I stopped reading because the rest of it probably bullshit as well.

“We assassinated our own president in 1963...”

We? As Mark Twain said, the only people who should be allowed to say “we” are kings, editors and persons with tapeworms.

when we embrace a new model of consciousness that accommodates both science and spirituality into a unified understanding of both, we can solve all the world’s problems overnight.

The new age world view trusts cosmic evolution to guide humanity unswervingly toward perfection. Members of the new age movement place their faith in evolution as humanity's savior.

Wow, just what the Soviet Union was all about, evolving. In order to evolve, though you have to kill off all the unhappy dissidents of The State until only loyal communists are left. USSR killed many millions but still couldn't make it work. In fact it was atheist Marxist regimes, not "religions" that killed over 100 million. Hey, they did have affordable health care for everyone though. Except it was so bad a lot of people were also killed by that.

I have a feeling Mr. Huguenard that wrote this would find himself not being one of the survivors.

-—Humanity is evolving, right in front of our eyes. We’re coming to the end of an era that has spanned thousands of years and to understand what’s happening on the planet right now, it’s important to look at our current election process in a much broader context. The following things may seemingly have nothing to do with the election itself, but seeing them all together can help us get our minds around this cycle we’re moving through.——

I know several young people who actually think this is true...

Boy, they are in for a rude awakening...

Wow. Word for word this is the same bilge the leftists were saying about Obama. Anyone remember “Obama the Lightworker?”

A being so superior and special he will usher in a new age of human development.

Bernie’s campaign just isn’t about a Political Revolution, it’s happening in the midst of Human Evolution and you’re going to be shocked at how quickly this happens.

Evolution? Bernies campaign is straight out of the 60’s.

I turn 56 in a few weeks ... We assassinated our own president in 1963, I lost friends from my high school in Vietnam, Nixon was a blatant crook and I’ve never felt there was ever a candidate that represented me or my values.

When Kennedy was assassinated he was 3 years old. The last American was killed in Vietnam over a year before he started high school. Nixon was elected when he was 9 and resigned when he was 14.

Did he storm the beaches of Normandy too?

This brainless unthinking new age acolyte is the poster child for why mandatory voting is NOT a good idea.

He is my age, has never voted, but may decide to vote if Sanders is the nominee, because, well, magic. Thank goodness this guy has never voted before, and I sincerely hope he does not vote in this election and is never motivated to vote again!

BTW, isn’t it the libertarians who always claim that illicit drug use is essentially harmless? This guy sure writes like drugs addled his brain...

“We” didn’t assassinate Kenney. Lyndon Johnson assassinated Kennedy. And Nixon was not a crook.

It’s really sad how FUBAR this nation’s citizenry has become. That an article like this, expressing opinions that used to be seen as a tiny fringe element, written by a guy who seems to be ‘well intentioned’ but isn’t quite right in the head. The sort of guy you’d avoid engaging in conversation with if possible, but when he happened to be standing in the grocery line in front of you and started talking with you, you’d sort of smile and reply to him much like you would to a little child or someone learning-disabled.

But now.... Bients and Huffington Post see this guy’s opinions as news worthy! This guy, Mr Huguenard, is writing like some high school kid who recently discovered marijuana and decided to write down some mish-mash of the thoughts he has. But worse, there’s evidently many out there that ‘think’ like him.
