A while back in Church when the congregation was asked to name a song they would like sung, I would nominate “Jesus loves me.”

I got some strange looks and wry smiles, but I still love that song!

Oh and yes, we would sing it...

A while back in Church when the congregation was asked to name a song they would like sung, I would nominate “Jesus loves me.”

Donna Douglas (Elly May), when she came to speak one Sunday evening a decade or two ago, asked if we all could sing it together, her favorite. There were tears.

That ol' time religion was not good enough for me, as a foolish young fella those years ago, but later finding and being found by the Lord Jesus Christ turned out to be a real lifesaver for which there are not enough ways to thank Him.
