Yes, I did, because that post was particularly vile. Obviously, I was not the only one who found that post vile and offensive, because it's featured by the sweet poster of this thread, in bold.
These are the kind of comments are allowed on the religious forums without any moderation.
"I believe that Catholicism has caused more people to go to hell then [sic] Islam."

(For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus)
It certainly is depressing that the Religion Moderator seems to encourage this kind of stuff. It undermines the basic purpose of FR, which is to get people of various persuasions to work together against the evil forces that are working to destroy our country. And there’s certainly nothing Christian about such an attitude.
And you didn't even ping the person you are attacking either!
I wonder, would you call a post vile and offensive if someone had said instead:
"Protestantism has sent more people to hell than Islam."
Because we have seen this and much worse posted by Catholics on the Religion Forum on a pretty regular basis and seem to deal with it pretty well. We aren't calling for a mutiny of Free Republic, the abolishment of the Religion Forum or criticizing and calling into question the motives and effectiveness of the Religion Moderators.
We are supposed to be adults here and have been forewarned that the RF is a town-square type of format where contrary beliefs can be expressed. I'd suggest, for those who cannot tolerate having their religion criticized, they should stay away from the RF.
Lousy theology tends to ascribe more power to earthly things than they really have. Original sin takes people to hell. It can also take people to worldly forms of religion. But the worldly forms of religion are not the root of the rift between men and God.
