What's happened with you? This is a different kind of posting from you than before this latest episode of Catholic unhappiness with non-RCC Christians on FR. You and your FRiend(s) are upset over something posted you feel has been a personal attack against YOU and that you indicate were intentionally hurtful and deliberately unkind.

It has not been a personal attack against YOU or any FReeper. The FReepers who you now dislike have posted evidence and their opinions against a provably false religion that, in fact, denies what Christ TRULY has finished and Who Christ TRULY is while defending a comfortable and beautiful false church fantasy.

I am the same FReeper with the same religious beliefs who has been posting to you, to onyx, and to other FReepers since circa 2005. We had enjoyable chats in the past. What changed?

My point was that the person I was posting to always falls back on if you don’t like it don’t click on the post. I was being sarcastic, and she obviously didn’t like it.

You seem to know the inside of that posters mind to state so emphatically such "factual" (bolded areas) knowledge of the content of the inner workings of her mind. [Isn't it great this thread isn't in the RF?]

Now that you have done that, how about addressing the issues that were brought up in that post?

They were pretty important and it would be helpful to see your take on them.

I just replied to a poster who uses sarcastic one-liners to avoid the issues and he was quite proud of his method of evading the hard questions.

Pretty popular tactic when indefensible questions are asked of some.

A while back in Church when the congregation was asked to name a song they would like sung, I would nominate “Jesus loves me.”

Donna Douglas (Elly May), when she came to speak one Sunday evening a decade or two ago, asked if we all could sing it together, her favorite. There were tears.

That ol' time religion was not good enough for me, as a foolish young fella those years ago, but later finding and being found by the Lord Jesus Christ turned out to be a real lifesaver for which there are not enough ways to thank Him.
