Usually there is more participation but I think everyone went to the bar tonight, as I almost did. Also I skipped the last event as I was on double secret probation and laying low for a bit. The event before I had taken on a troll and took it a little too far and got in some trouble but the troll is gone, hopefully for good, and we're back in business. I promise to be good.

Many thanks for hosting, Manic. I tried to keep my comments somewhat....sedate. Did my yellin’ at Twin Peaks in Houston. Hopefully this thread won’t get disappeared?!?!?!?
I definitely look forward to the next one. Again, thanks for hosting!

Haha I don't know but the world is a better place without his kind of obnoxious smarmy condescension.
I did have a some fun at his expense tho =)

I enjoyed it as well. I’m sure he’ll get a new username, or another “Helen Lovejoy” will be along shortly.

I’ll gladly fight Carano in her debut UFC fight...

Can’t wait for the fights.

Interesting. Of course they had to find
somebody who could hang with Rhonda more than 16 seconds. Maybe, you know, a round or two at least??? People will tune out of the women's events if too many more fights go down like that last one.
Dana White made the smart move and made it quickly. I gotta say, he's a heck of a promoter and a businessman.

I'm sure it's purely coincidental (cough) that these new fighters are smokin' hot =)

Song Ga-Yeon starts her pro-career next month. If she does well, could she be invited to one of the UFC events?

Maybe Rhonda is the cyborg!
I don't know if this was mentioned above, but it looks like UFC 176 is off:
All UFC 176 fights canceled
The UFC has canceled a UFC 176 pay-per-view event scheduled to take place on Aug. 2 in Los Angeles, due to a non-severe neck injury to headliner Jose Aldo.
bummer. The link takes you to ESPN, BTW.

She’s cute. Let’s see how she fights. If she is good, she might transition to the UFC.

I assume she did well enough as an amateur if she is going pro next month.

Apparently she went to a specialized “homeland security” high school with an eye toward becoming a Marine.
She had a 4-0 record (2 of those against males of similar weight) or something. I would have thought she would do more before going pro but we shall see.
