In case you didn't notice, this thread's article came out a few DAYS ago about a Catholic-run home for unwed mothers in Ireland and the discovery of a huge, used septic tank packed to the top with the bodies of HUMAN beings - babies and young children which was discovered by some kids playing there. Has it hit your brain yet that such things are a TERRIBLE testimony for those who say they are pro-life? That link you gave, in case you didn't bother to read it, speaks about the MAGDALENE Laundries, too. Read it and get back to us about all the bad things you want to blame on all Protestants. Maybe you missed my earlier post:
As someone who is a determined pro-lifer, it really bothers me to read about such things because I know about all the anti-life, pro-abortion rights people out there who will look at this as just another example of "religious" people who don't care about the children that come from unplanned or unwanted pregnancies. See, they will say, you claim you want to help pregnant women and girls but once the baby is born, you don't care anymore. Here is a prime example of that - a thousand dead babies tossed one on top of another in a used concrete septic tank, forgotten, unmarked, as if they never lived at all. "Hey! At least they weren't aborted!" This reflects badly on ALL pro-life people, not just Roman Catholics. It distresses me and SHOULD do so for others.
So, tell me, narses, are your penances and apologies for what happened in Catholic institutions paid up? Or, are you too busy casting blame and pointing fingers at others who you say are just as bad or marking it all down to just lies from Catholic haters????
Here's a thought...look to yourself and what YOU do to promote pro-life goals and get off your defensive high horse over anything that reflects negatively on your chosen religion. Your participation on these threads might actually mean something for a change.
BTW...we don't live aboard a boat anymore but have just a regular house - probably like yours - FAR away from any water or yachting crowds. I have no need to apologize for any of that, anyway. You'd know that if you actually read my profile. This must be a really sore spot for you to think others have worked hard and lived their dreams while they could. Are you sure you aren't a Liberal troll? Because this delusion you must have that we are wealthy and living the high life sure sounds just like part of Obama's class envy scheme.
