I pre-ordered the book through Amazon. The price was 19.59 but when I checked out they DEDUCTED 19.59 as an “Amazon Settlement Credit” (whatever that is). So, in essence, I’m getting it free. I have “Prime” so my shipping is “free”.

I have a sense that what this might mean is you have a credit with Amazon...which will be credited to the amount of your next purchase.
