Good work! Her first name is Debi. She’s had a name change just like ....
In all the research about the lighter side I’d the family nothing came up about this facet. Now we may know why.
What did her hubby get his award for and what is his occupation are the two questions that pop in my mind!
It’s not ‘good work’ so don’t patronise me, I’m not one of your flunkies. I’ve been posting that Goeldner connection to Saudi Arabia for years, but every time I mentioned Virginia Goeldner and her statement that Madelyn told her ‘the boy’s mother died in 1970’ the resident FR obstructionists have come out in force and denied it was possible, that Virginia must have made a mistake or the journalist misquoted her.
We The People of the US blog posted the photograph and the background to the award given to Layla’s (Debi Goeldner) husband so long ago, I can’t find it now. He’s some kind of engineer iirc, and her deceased father installed a computer system for a Saudi Bank. I’ll post it if and when I find it again.
And by the way, Debi’s name change would have come about at her marriage to a muslim. You don’t get to be married to a muslim and keep an infidel name.
Oh my goodness. I’ve been out all day, and I just checked in on this thread. I have a lot of reading to do to catch up! I don’t think I’ll manage it tonight. I hope to do a lot of reading, and then weigh in w a comment or two tomorrow. I’m looking forward to your posts in particular. You are one of the best researchers on the site, and I have learned a lot from you already; thanks.
That will have to do it for the moment. I’ll plan to give you an update when I’ve managed to cull through the thread, whenever that may be.
