Former Governor Jennifer Granholm of Michigan stated a few years back she was eligible for the presidency because she was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and had dual Citizenship.
Canadian Granholm implies she can run for President: Ive got dual citizenship.

Michigan Democrat Governor Jennifer Granholm on Fox News Sunday responded to host Chris Wallaces clarification that as a Canadian, she is ineligible to run for president of the United States. Granholm came to the United States as a child of 4 years old.
Granholms response is indicative of the mistaken belief that because one of her parents is/was a US Citizen, shes eligible.
GRANHOLM: No, Im totally focused this year on creating every single job I can until the last moment. December 31st at midnight is when Ill stop. So I have no idea what Im going to do next, but Im not going to run for president. I can tell you that.
WALLACE: Yes, thats true. We should point out Governor Granholm is a Canadian and cannot run for president.
GRANHOLM: Im American. Ive got dual citizenship.
I don't think she's implying anything. Wallace said she was a Canadian and she corrected him. Which was a dumb mistake on Wallace's part to begin with since she couldn't run for governor had she not been a citizen. Nowhere in those comments did she say or hint she thought she was qualified to run for president or had any intention of doing so.
