Are you implying that, in order to pander to a silly sense of self perceived enlightenment, we should make disabled children perfectly centered in every photo?

That is not what I said or implied. As someone that has some experience with photography I think that there were half a dozen better way to take the picture, many of which have already been listed in previous posts by others.
The one thing I sure as hell wouldn't have done is to set him off to the side to feel ostracized.
