He indicated he acts first and consults scripture later, which was what I asked him to clarify. His post seemed to indicate that he relies on the arm of the flesh before relying on God. As for mindlessly, I was not referring to Jeff, I was referring to myself.
I don't see that he's saying he'll do whatever, and then consult scripture later. He said, he'll do whatever he is able, and then as we are told (bid) by the scriptures, to "wait upon the Lord..." That is scriptural to do. We are supposed to 'wait upon the Lord'. God gives us direction as we go about doing His will. Then we are to wait until He reveals further His will before we proceed further. I'm not reading it at all the way you have.
