Sigh...this is why we can’t have nice things...
At what point did half the conservative world start buying the liberal bullshit that we all must sing kumbya and get our participation trophy?
For those of you internet conservatives that forgot, ‘party politics’ and religion exist not to compromise, but to put likeminded people together to forward their beliefs/agenda.
We do not need less polarization, we need MORE polarization.
Now if you want to believe the moon is really a cow in a grey coat, Good for you. But don’t sit there preaching that christians or conservatives are white supremacists if they won’t cave in their beliefs and back your personal convictions.
Words mean things. You can call a dog’s tail a 5th leg. Guess what? It’s a tail. And we now experience our dillema because people on compromise have wrecked both political parties and most if not all organized faiths.
And namecalling with paralell cries of ‘unity’ are hallmarks of the left. People who use those tactics and espouse compromise over principle ARE what ails America. Hell they destroyed America.
Had Washington compromised, we’d still be British. That fact seems lost on modern ‘conservatism’.
As for faith and belief, if you don’t believe your faith is correct, why in Sam Hell are you are a member of it? And why would you NOT put it above everyone elses and defend it completely?
I swear to God that almost NO ONE left thinks anything through to it’s logical conclusion anymore.

I've always wondered the same thing. It's like when people say: "You always think you're right." Well, yes, I tell them, if I thought I was wrong, I'd change what I thought, because.....well I'd think something ELSE was right.
Critical and logical thinking is an increasingly rare and precious commodity.
