Since 1998 here (as you both know). Dittos.
People have to vote their conscience and I will not deride anyone for honestly doing that...even if I disagree with them and feel that this election is going to determine whether this Republic survives for my kids and grandkids.
With that at stake, the choice becomes very clear. Obama must go, and he must be run out on a rail...and we must have a President, a House and a Senate that will work together to undo the almost irreparable harm he has already done.
I intend to do all in my power to accomplish that.
And this whole thing about FR becoming now one of the premier anti-Mormon sites on the internet is equally sad, IMHO. It only serves to marginalize its effectiveness as a conservative site for all loyal Americans...and a lot of people who are not LDS see it and understand it...and are either departing, or retreating back to lurker mode while “like minded” individuals against millions of loyal Americans take their place here because they have been provided a safe haven.
I am LDS, Jesus Christ is my Savior and my King and Lord. I look forward to His return, and should I not live to see it from this side, then I shall return with Him in the air.

What is sad is to see that broad brush statement, making it look like FR is against Mormons.
Jim has made it very clear that there will be no hate towards Mormons on this site.
It's MormonISM that this website allows to be questioned and debunked from being a part of main stream Christianity.
Free Republic may be anti MormonISM, but it certainly is not anti-Mormon.
There is no doubt in my mind you would do that. That's your faith speaking.
And when the POWER OF GOD comes - remember what little power you have as YOU can't serve two masters. You already made your choice way back.

Good hearing from you, Jeff. Religion really is an issue in this campaign. But not Mormonism. Islam. As a Catholic, I am not threatened by Mormons. But I am threatened by radical Islam. It is the greatest threat Western Civilization faces, and we have an occupant in the White House who is at best sympathetic to them and at worst one of them.
This nation is about to hit the iceberg and sink economically, taking with it the rest of the world. There is a very short window of opportunity to turn the ship around. Obama is neither capable of that nor interested in that. He wants the colonial powers to be destroyed. That really is the dream of his father.
Saddens me too. It's bigoted. And reeks of familiarity.
