Jeff put on this thread, that JR supported Mitt Romney in 2008, because he accepted his current positions, and did not judge him by his past.

The post was to a guy laying into JR for not supporting Romney, and for not judging him by his current positions, and who was even denying that Romney even had that past.

I think we all agree that that is about as vicious a thing that we have seen put on JR, especially on his own, anti-Romney thread.

Is that it? Heck...I supported Romney then, too, because he was the alternative to McCain........and that’s it, and the only reason. However, I supported him in the end, and was disappointed that he dropped out.

OK, I did catch a post from Jeff where he said he was mistaken about Jim supporting Romney way back when and he apologized for the error. Am I wrong about that?

I didn’t see the original Post though, but I can’t imagine Jeff attacking Jim. They go way back, and I don’t know of a more decent man than Jeff Head whose Posts I have been following for years here.

All I know is that Jeff is a better Man than I, which is why I was taken aback by your accusation towards him.

I would hope the incident was nothing more than a misunderstanding. As I said earlier, disagreements are not attacks, at least that’s the way it used to be around here.
