The Mormon system seems hopelessly confused. Or maybe I just don’t comprehend a religion that has people growing into capital G God. It sounds like a half hearted attempt at what pantheism preaches unabashedly.
Anyhow, surely there are standards that God is supposed to live up to? Like those that most religions of the civilized world ascribe to righteous deity? Mitt sure did a lousy job of that in Mass. Maybe he’s got better ideas this time around, I hope he does. I get the sense that Mitt isn’t taking Mormon theology in full seriousness in spite of his elevated position in the organization. He’d surely have stated an intention to name another Mormon as veep if he did take it that seriously.

***No matter how you slice it, that is not a ringing endorsement of mitt. It seems that the best any mittbots can say about him is that he isn’t a communist. The republican party simply needs to do better than that, and by their machinations they’ve put up this POS as candidate. The party needs a cleansing, and voting for this POS isn’t going to help one bit.
