Look at the context, you weren’t suddenly blurting out something irrelevant about the constitution, you were trying to tell us to shut-up, and to quit mixing religion with politics in our discussion.
In my opinion we have gone beyond discussing religion, but have descended into using the Word of God as a bludgeon against people who don’t agree with us.
Some relish that as sport. I do not.
I would rather find common ground and build a consensus.Because the future of America and the people in it are too important to get lost in the weeds over who we disgaree with.
If FR is a missionary society, fine, but move it to where religion is the main focus of the discussion. That is more appropriate. And we have such a section.With a competent moderator.
But if you cannot see where this has descended, then I cannot be of any help to you.
I know saying anything remotely like this makes me a target, but that just proves my point.
