Ryan is a good man, but does not redeem the abortionist/homosexualist statist Romney

Except for his unfortunate go along to get along support of TARP, bailouts, stimulus spending and the increased credit limit, etc, Ryan is a pretty good choice. Probably the best choice of the RINOS that were on Romney's short list. I support Ryan for the vice presidency. Wish he were at the top of the ticket, though.
But I still cannot and will not support the grand father of ObamaCare. Romney still loves and brags about his bastard brainchild, RomneyCare, even today when he knows what an anti-liberty socialist POS it is.
And the fact that he advocated that abortion should be safe and legal in America for over three decades of his adult lifetime and even advocated that Roe v Wade should be supported and sustained as settled law precludes any consideration whatsoever by this pro-life Christian for Myth Romney for the presidency.
And the fact that he boasted that he would be better for "gay rights" than Ted Kennedy, and proved it just increases my resistance.
That, and his penchant for gun control, his continuing support for global warming, gays in the scouts, gays in the military, and his record of appointing liberal judges makes it all but impossible for me to support him.
Lastly, we're having a bit of changeover on our moderator staff. At least two moderators resigned this afternoon after I flatly refused to rein in a so-called anti-Mormon "bigot" on FR. Well, if being in opposition to false prophets and false prophecy makes a Christian believer a bigot, then I guess I'm a bigot. I've posted before that I flat do not believe that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. Nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. The Christian bible warns us to be weary of false prophets and that I am. Romney being the presumptive Republican nominee does not change that fact.

I’d rather take a chance with a politician that flips “like a seal” to win polls, than a resolute marxist who gives no damn and even doubles and triples down on it.

An obsequious waffler with no true convictions, forever with a finger in the wind. That doesn't describe Mitt Romney at all, read post 4870, Romney knows exactly who he is, and has passionately advanced his politics, with money, fund raising, campaigning, governing, and he has been bold in his speaking for, and advancing liberalism, and now he is the presidential nominee of the republican party.
When 2005/6 came, and it was time to take over the GOP at the national level, he did almost an entire reversal of all of his public politics and beliefs, did it work? Read your posts, look at who the nominee is, it worked.

What unmitigated crap you are peddling.
Reagan implemented one Pro-Abortion bill in California, for the health of the mother, that is all, he regretted because it was distorted way out of proportion by the Liberals.
That was his last foray into Abortion, almost 15 years before he became President.
He was not a cheerleader for Abortion like Romney was, he wasn't out promoting Abortion like Romney was, he wasn't proclaiming he affinity for the Pro-Choice movement like Romney was.
He didn't implement Socialized Medicine with a $50 copay after a supposed "Pro-Life" conversion.
He didn't nominate 27 out of 36 EXTREME Pro-Choice Progressives like Romney did, including one after his supposed "Pro-Life" conversion.

Look, he is obviously going to have admit that he screwed up on his healthcare crap , I pray. But as far as the abortion quotes, you could also transpose Reagan there as Reagan was pro choice also and switched! Yet you will not give Romney that same grace that you have given Reagan. Not right and very reactionary.

ok..so Reagan never believed in pro choice? If so , than I am wrong. How about Henry Hyde...he certainly was pro choice, correct? There are many examples of such people switching. And for you to call Romney a cheerleader for abortion is not true, right? He sounded to me more like a foolishly weak man going along with the leftist women in that regard. Show me one single clip where he is saying it is right to commit abortion. One please.

We cant have someone easily deceive3d connected to National security or near the RED BUTTON... We already do. His name is Barack Hussein Obama. And we've had others before him that were, named William Jefferson Clinton and James Earl Carter.
Unless Jesus Christ is on the ballot from here on out we're going to continue to have erronous sinners with access to the "Red Button," so get used to it.
