Jeff put on this thread, that JR supported Mitt Romney in 2008, because he accepted his current positions, and did not judge him by his past.
The post was to a guy laying into JR for not supporting Romney, and for not judging him by his current positions, and who was even denying that Romney even had that past.
I think we all agree that that is about as vicious a thing that we have seen put on JR, especially on his own, anti-Romney thread.
Then again: I'm a sarcastic p***k... so, you know: It Is What It Is. ;)
I voted for Gingrich, who was still on the ballot in Cali by the time we got to choose... shmooze... what a crock.

I happened to grow up in a town with a very large Jewish community and, as an evangelical Christian, I am as Zionist as they come.

Ours was May 29th..but Newt was still on the ballot and I voted for him in Texas.

Is that it? Heck...I supported Romney then, too, because he was the alternative to McCain........and that’s it, and the only reason. However, I supported him in the end, and was disappointed that he dropped out.

We know of course that you would, and did support Romney, that is a given, but to JR he was Giuliani part II.
Attacks don’t get any nastier than to try to create that falsehood on the internet, and on JR’s own thread reminding everyone of just how despicable, the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-conservative Romney is.

OK, I did catch a post from Jeff where he said he was mistaken about Jim supporting Romney way back when and he apologized for the error. Am I wrong about that?
I didn’t see the original Post though, but I can’t imagine Jeff attacking Jim. They go way back, and I don’t know of a more decent man than Jeff Head whose Posts I have been following for years here.
All I know is that Jeff is a better Man than I, which is why I was taken aback by your accusation towards him.
I would hope the incident was nothing more than a misunderstanding. As I said earlier, disagreements are not attacks, at least that’s the way it used to be around here.
