Yeah, Wiki still has Lolo’s father getting killed by the Dutch in the revolution, while Maraniss found relatives who said he had a heart attack standing on the couch to hang drapes...but...Wiki has no trace of a military background, much less being a “colonel.” Lolo was clearly a geographer by training and profession which is only tangentially linked to the military through civilian employment.
