Why did an errand girl named Newman get to write Malcolm X’s obituary?

(It's not the obituary; it's an obituary.)

Do you accept the job description and the name?

Do you reject the job description but accept the name?

Do you reject the job description and the name?

Who wrote this particular elegy?

As a footnote, you have an attitude problem. Don't accuse others of being obtuse in the paragraph in which you mean to type kind yet type king.

The question of the elegy is of note: is this a menial doing a rhapsodic celebration of the black muslim martyr or is it a masked dramatic piece from a player.

What are your tells?
