Odinga on Obama Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga has said he is a cousin of US presidential hopeful Barack Obama. Mr Odinga told the BBC's The World Today that Senator Obama's father was his maternal uncle.
RAILA ODINGA, whose father was Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, the man who obtained numerous scholarships from the USSR for Kenyans to study at the Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow, to which he sent one of his own sons, was once upon a time a teacher at the Maseno school attended by the kenyan student Barack (Berwick) Obama and his older brother, Joseph/Yusuf. There may well be a family relationship somewhere in their background, a clan-based relationship perhaps, but Raila Odinga is NOT related to zero, because zero isn't the son of the kenyan student; the son of the kenyan student, last seen, was in Washington DC with the President of Equatorial Guinea.
That's the man on the far left of the group.
Father and sons and a brother: Barack, 'Roman' Malik and Omar.
...When, however, the African Obamas make claims that vary from the accepted Obama narrative, the media become much more skeptical.
For instance, the same Granny that Meacham quotes unquestioningly on family resemblance, he dismisses when she tells him that young Barry Obama attended the Senior Obamas funeral.
Obama did not attend his father's burial, writes Meacham. He came to Kenya only in 1987, on a journey, perhaps, to metaphorically bury Senioror "the Old Man," as others in the family called him.
Chronology is a frequent problem in Obama lore. In Dreams, young Obama leaves on his famed African pilgrimage immediately after his weepy first visit to Reverend Wrights church and just before he begins Harvard, not in 1987, but in 1988.
Structurally, this timing works. Its accuracy is another question. Africa.com traced his first visit to Kenya to 1983, the summer after college graduation, when he had come to mourn his late father.
Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendell also puts this first visit in 1983. UKs Independent and Obamas uncle Sayid specify 1987 for the first trip, as did Obama himself when speaking to college students in Kenya in 2006. Remnick sticks to the official version of 1988 in his exhaustive 2010 Obama biography, The Bridge.
In Dreams, Obama dedicates 131 pages to this African pilgrimage. It is the climactic chapter of the book and presumably his life. And yet two years into his presidency, there is still nothing close to a consensus as to when he actually made this journey.
It's not so confusing when you follow that his son would have attended the funeral and zero came along not long afterwards. There's nothing to show where Stanley Ann travelled to in June and April 1983, but Alice Dewey's story seems to provide a clue.
During both visits, the villagers paid little or no attention to him. He managed to slip quietly into the village, pray at his father's graveyard and meet a few relatives and villagers.
He's wearing the same muslim 'dress' in both images.
It can be hard to judge age in Africans for me anyway, but Roman Obama Ekua looks to be a man in his late 30’s, not age 50+ which he would be if he was the same Roman Obama who was in Moscow. He does NOT appear to me to be mixed race.
Roman Obama Ekua appears to be currently stationed in Wash D.C. because he is listed as the Second Secretary at the embassy of his apparent native country on the embassy listing of the U.S. Office of the Chief of Protocol as of January 17, 2012:

The discovery and exploitation of large oil and gas reserves have contributed to dramatic economic growth, but fluctuating oil prices have produced huge swings in GDP growth in recent years. The economy is still dominated by hydrocarbon production.
I would assume that everyone knew when Zero and Stanley Ann arrived that they were imposters, since the real BHO had grown up in Kenya, right? And since they knew Zero was an imposter, what compelled them to reject the real BHO and pretend that Zero was BHO? Money? Threats?
Here is a dating or invitation to “friend” site for Roman Obama Ekua claiming to be age 33, as of 2011, per Google which would make him the age of mid-30s that he appears to be in the photos on this thread and on this site. He lives in VA near the embassy it seems.
“Roman Obama Ekua, 33”

Well...considering how often so many of the clan attempt to convince us that zero is their relative, something must have happened to make it worth their while.
Nah, I’m not an optimist at all. I don’t have rose colored glasses, I have storm cloud colored glasses, streaked with rain...
But the news - the scent of fresh wind - the change in the air - the sudden rustling of leaves - it’s not a dry dread east wind, it’s a fresh ocean west wind. Change is on the way, and not the “FORWARD [into the abyss]” type of change the evil cabal has in mind.
The MSM is starting to turn against him, and more witnesses are in the wings, the tide is turning. And then people are giong to want to know: “Just who the HE!! is he???!??”
I remember that story. A good writer. What a hellish place.
That’s interesting, I’ve read many places on FR threads about Stanley Ann’s work with craftspeople and microloans etc in Indonesia, and she spent time in Pakistan doing I know not what (but maybe the same or a simliar gig?) but I don’t recall anything about doing that in Africa. I wonder why Dewey would want to place her in Africa.
MOSCOW - For nearly a decade, Roman Obama's life at Patrice Lumumba University was almost paradise. He studied for free and got warm clothes and cheap airline tickets that let him see the world.
"We had so many possibilities. Maybe it was not a luxurious life, but we could travel and do things," said Obama, 31, a law student from Equatorial Guinea.
FIND HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
>HA HA HA HA HA!
A picture is worth a thousand words.
From various photos, some seem happier about it than others.
When Kezia said when I first met her, she was like a sister to me I wondered where they would have met, and then when Alice Dewey indicates Stanley Ann was in Kenya, and tries to fob it off as if she was 'working' there, the penny drops. Take it step by step; Alice is no different to anyone else, she's another sycophant, she can't keep her mouth shut either. When Alice says she saw a video of zero standing next to a building where Stanley Ann arranged mirco loans - in KENYA (!) how the heck would she recognize the building, if she wasn't there herself? Can you imagine the three of them decending upon the village after they got the news the 'old man' had been killed in an accident? Stanley Ann says, I'm the woman he married in Hawaii and this is his son, and Alice says, that's right, I was her teacher, I was there and I knew them all.
Alice Greeley Dewey is an American anthropologist who studied Javanese society. She was a professor of anthropology at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa from 1962 until her retirement in 2005.
She's the granddaughter of John Dewey who I believe had something to do with your current education system - and she now lives permanently in Indonesia.
Very interesting. Yes, John Dewey, the progressive socialist, who wanted schools to be drone factories, and so they are.
