I don't think so. Conservatives just need to come up with a candidate who the vast majority of Republicans see as electable. They didn't do it this time.

I beg to disagree. There were good candidates who got trashed by Romney/GOP-e money.

That certainly wouldn’t *hurt*!! But in addition to nominating better candidates, the primary process *clearly* needs to be changed, that much I firmly believe.
I just think a political-right party should start out in political-right states. Run the primarys by state ranking of the historical number of conservatives/republicans elected. States who elect the most conservatives/republicans (combined state & local offices) go first. Or something like that. Make a state *earn* the right to go early. There’s got to be a better way.
