Compare a group of rural northerners with a group of rural southerners and there won't be much difference.

That's been my experience, pretty much anywhere I go in the US. Of course it isn't often that you come across a rock-ribbed Lost Causer wherever you travel ;-)

In my travels in the South, I've never come across one thank goodness. They must all gather in certain places.
