Exactly. A good police officer will understand that many women are apprehensive about being pulled over at night, and they will generally either permit the woman to go to a lit area or verify that the person pulling her over is, in fact, a cop, and not some criminal who bought a uniform and some lights.
Unless, of course, the officer had something on his mind that was best suited for isolated, poorly lit venues.
