Breathalyzers have been rigged by corrupt law enforcement agencies since they appeared on the scene. I remember in my teens when a local judge was arrested for DUI and refused to blow. When asked why, he told the cop, "These things are rigged all the time."

That's a rule of thumb. Not everyone reacts to alcohol the same way, be it weight, gender or even race.

You need to stick to posting about things you know about. This isn't one of them.

Wrong. Your body rids itself of about an ounce of alcohol per hour.. hence the rule of thumb for drinking and driving that almost EVERY bar tender can give you.

After a woman has one standard drink…

If she weighs 100 pounds, she will have a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.05. If she drinks it over one hour, she will have a BAC of 0.03, and if she drinks it over two hours, she will have a BAC of 0.01. Only after three hours will she have a BAC of 0.00.

If she weighs 150 pounds, she will have a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.03. If she drinks it over one hour, she will have a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.01, and after two hours, she will have a BAC of 0.00.

If she weighs 200 pounds, she will have a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.02. If she drinks it over one hour, she will have a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.008, and after two hours, she will have a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.00.

So after just one drink, even larger women take around two hours for their BAC to return to zero.

No, its stupid idiots like you who support the arrest of any innocent person who chooses to exercise their rights under the law. And in this specific case, the test was given at the police dept. where the results came up 0.00000

You may remember the officer indicated she said she had a “sip of wine” at the dinner. Her statement is she never had anything to drink. Sounds to me like it is probable she did have a small drink, a small glass of wine, that could have had way less than one ounce of alchohol in it; maybe as little as .25 ounce. In that case in way less than an hour she would be at 0.00 by your own link calculations.

I am amazed out how many outraged people there are over a cop doing his job.

I will say it again: ALL WOMEN want to believe the reason they were stopped by an officer is because of their beauty and not their ineptness behind the wheel....

The human body metabolizes alcohol at the rate of .015 BAC per hour. For a person with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08, the standard for legal drunkenness, it's going to take over five hours for their system to metabolize that alchohol (0.08 divided by .015 = 5.3333).

The lady was described as having a slight odor of alcohol on her breath. Apparently, no field evidence of impairment was presented. She blew zero how many hours later? Certainly not five hours later. So, she was not legally drunk at the time she was detained by the officer.

The argument was never about whether she was legally drunk sir. The debate was about could she be at zero an hour after having a glass of wine. I say yes and a link to a women’s alcohol abuse site posted earlier supports that. Remember, a single small glass of wine may have just .25 ounce of alchohol in it.

PS: Maybe you missed the fact she REFUSED the breathalyzer test which is an automatic arrest and detainment.
