That is a GREAT story. I could almost hear the kids laughing as I read it.
Imagine...letting kids be kids!
If I had known the teacher or who it was responsible, I would have hugged her/him. Little things like that gave me, a small-town kid, a whole 'nother education on City Folks when I moved there. I had moved there a country snob elitist, sneering at "city folk, idiots." They are different and naive in a lot of ways, but I learned that they're also incredibly resourceful and adventurous in their own ways, and that it's easy to underestimate them. Lots and lots of good, square, right folks in the cities.
