Rush Limbaugh slammed for 'avoiding' eligibility
WorldNetDaily ^ | April 7, 2011 | Joe Kovacs

Radio giant Rush Limbaugh came under fire today from a caller to his top-rated program accusing the host of avoiding the issue of Barack Obama's eligibility to be president.

"The fact of the matter is that his citizenship has been a suspicious issue from the very beginning," said Angela from Arnold, Mo., "and not one high Republican or you has ever really tried to nail him on this issue, and if it does turn out that he is not a true citizen, then I think all of you should hang your heads in shame because of all the destruction our country has had to suffer ever since he was elected, in spite of being the fraud that we know he probably really is."

Limbaugh asked incredulously, "So you're mad at me?"

"I am furious," Angela responded. "I wanted you and anybody else to go after him on this issue before he was elected. It would have been the easiest way to have stopped him. It would have been a no-brainer. But nobody would. And so he was elected and everything was just hidden under the rug. And now look what we have had ever since. ... If it does turn out that he's not a citizen, I think you should hang your head in shame, because our country has suffered so much."

Limbaugh said irrespective of Obama not having produced his long-form, hospital-specified birth certificate, "I gotta remind you there is no evidence whatsoever Obama was not born in Hawaii. There's something he doesn't want us to see about the birth certificate, but there's nothing to glom onto here other than his reticence in having the birth certificate seen. I am the only one who proclaimed the guy a fraud....

Jees, why can't people understand the difference between a naturalized citizen and a natural born citizen.

No, you’re just wrong. part 1401 does refer specifically to persons born in the U.S.
Where did I say that it didn't?
All I said was..."And, once again, 1401 says nothing whatsoever about natural born citizenship."
If it does then showcase it. And explain how Congress overstepped it's Constitutional powers in the process.

I don't know! It just boggles the mind! It's not like it's written in Swahili or something!

I think someone needs to come up with a flow chart like they use in diagnosing a mechanical problem.

Sadly enough, too many people probably wouldn't even understand something as simple as that.

Hope you and yours are doing well.

IF Hillry, the one with the presidential destiny hung in the stars, and the one who ‘birthed’ the birther question, could NOT expose what is hidden, HOW could Rush have unearthed what is hidden?

The Jon Stewart media has play the opposite roll as they did in ‘Watergate’ in protecting their choice candidate, regardless of Constitutional eligibility. It must be one big trip to make or break the personage of the most powerful political office around this globe.

Not true. Some representing his interest posted a forgery on the web. The state of HI never vouched for it's authenticity.

The state of HI only used "legal weasel words" to appear to support the document.

In the context, weasel words are good enough. There is a privacy law in Hawaii regarding birth certificates, you know.

If what Obama posted on the web were made up, you can bet the Hawaiian bureaucrats would have clammed up and cited the law instead of issuing reassurances, however inadequate, to the press. Ideally, they'd have alerted the Bush DoJ to the fraud being perpetrated. Hawaii did have a Republican governor, after all. And it would not serve the interest of a state bureaucrat to get blamed for failing to flag the fraud of a young century. The only way Obama's CoLB is fake is if he's bought the State of Hawaii. Torturing pixels to attack the online images is a waste of time.

But none of that happened. Therefore, the logical conclusion is that Zero was indeed born in Honolulu. And that demolishes the factual wing of birtherism. What remains is the legal wing: the argument that he's not natural born because his daddy was a commie from Kenya (which is definitely true and was stipulated to, before the election, by Obama himself). The legal argument is going nowhere. If it's ever heard, expect the Supreme Court to decide that Natural Born simply means citizen by birthright. Any more complex interpretation would seem not only wrong but contrived to fit Obama's case.

And, lest you cite the wisdom of the Founders, remember that Zero's mentors Billy and Bernardine are both Natural Born Citizens beyond a doubt and constitutionally qualified to be President. The natural born definition is not worth arguing over! You can't rely on the Constitution to keep traitors out of the White House. Unfortunately, there is no substitute for the wisdom of the sheeple.

Now, the Donald is a useful loose canon in this early stage of the campaign. If he manages to turn up some dirt on Zero while pursuing the birther case, that's all to the good. If he simply embarrasses himself with his questions, then he's a Hillary supporter, a fact easily documented. We should wish him well!

I happen to think Obama was probably born in Hawaii. But the reason he won’t release it is: it probably lists his ethnicity as “white”. Remember in 1961 it was a “disadvantage” to be black. This was pre-civil rights and his mom I would wager thought it would “help” him. No way that she could forsee him growing up to be POTUS.

Rush, like other notable Republican figureheads has his own agenda (like when he beat the drums and shilled for G.W. Bush) that he pushes and so he chooses to ignore this difficult issue and let lesser known worthy individuals do the dirty work and put their livelihood on the line while he pretends to sit above the fray. If it comes out that Obummer is exposed you can bet your last dollar that Rush will rush in and take credit for exposing the criminal in the WH as a fraud.

.... This is Trump’s strength. He’s not a slave to his advertisers.

Before Trump jumped on this issue with both feet and brought his weight to bear on it has me giving him a second long hard look. Beforehand I didn't give him a remote second thought. In my eyes it is a potentially winning issue. I'll be better tuned in to him for the near future. Heck, I could even see myself voting for the guy, especially if his investigation bears some fruit since nearly all the other wannabes in the Republican Presidential field are still avoiding the issue. Right or wrong it shows courage to take on this vitally important issue. Go Donald.

Not hare brained, actually a pivotal issue that could have brought Zero down before the election if a major figure like Limbaugh had raised it.

The Donald is a Democrat claiming he’s a Republican because Obama is a sitting president.

Look at his political donations over the years: 59-41% Democrat, and those he supported in the GOP were the likes of Specter and Crist:

I think the dims want us to focus on the BC issue as a diversion to the utter disaster his record will show. Pretty shrewd strategy if you ask me.

guess you haven't been carefully following this nearly 3 year old controversy; the online COLB doesn't need pixel peeping to be laughable, once you've done some study regarding formats, included and excluded data, etc.. Pls read-up.
