Here's hoping that there are some states that will pursue legislation making it mandatory for all candidates to produce proof of citizenship

The fact that this is not currently a prerequisite is shameful IMHO.

What, are we afraid of offending someone?

It is not shameful that it was not a written law before now. What is shameful is that now we have such a corrupt elite that it has to be written in law or they will all conspire to violate the constitution and commit treason.

In the past, the opposing political party and the media would have sunk USS Keyna way before the election. They would have been on Obama for hiding all his records. But in this culture of humanism, dishonesty and getting away with breaking the law, is King. They think they are above the rule of law. They think they have progressed beyond the constitution.
