Here’s one. Born in the US to an American woman from a foreign father. Then ADOPTED by an Indonesian man and resides in Indonesia. At this point he is now an Indonesian citizen. When he comes back to America he is in effect a NATURALISED American, hence unqualified to hold the office.

A parent cannot strip a child born in the U.S. of his U.S. citizenship. That birthright belongs to the child and not to the parent.

If Aristotle Onassis had adopted John and Caroline Kennedy, they would still have been U.S. citizens .... regardless of what Jackie and Aristotle did or did not do.

Obama is hiding his original birth certificate because it probably lists his birth name as "Barry Dunham". Since Obama, Sr. was already married in Kenya and bigamy is illegal in the U.S., the birth certificate may have even listed Stanley Ann Dunham as "Single".

If Rush and Hannity are not barking up the "not a U.S. citizen" tree, they are pretty sure that it is the wrong tree.

Barry was born, by birthright, a subject to the crown of her majesty the Queen of England. Inherited from his foreign father, regardless of where he was born.

At best, he was born with conflicting allegiances. There is no chance the framers would have considered someone born with multiple allegiances a "Natural Born Citizen" as required for the position of Commander in Chief.

He's a usurper. Rush, Hanity, Levin, et. al. are afraid of the issue for whatever reason...

A valid statement that ‘gaining’ Indonesian citizenship - which it appears is exactly the case - does not nullify US citizenship.

The real issue would be the actions of an ADULT Obama after he turned to the age of majority (18). At that point he would need to declare or at least utilize the privileges of only one country from that point forward.

It would appear that there is a least plausible actions or lack of actions and disclosures that give credence to an ADULT Obama who leveraged multiple citizenships depending on the need. Or maybe he lived as a full foreign national during his college years. The records that would confirm or debunk this line of reasoning are.....still hidden.

His birth - may be a problem, his likely adaptions - may be a problem. But if lived and embraced either foreign or dual citizenship as an adult after age 18...that IS a problem that almost no one can deflect or rationalize.

His mother filled for divorce from Obama Sr. The divorce papers are public record. She was married to him.
