Have you actually done the research you arrogantly demand of others? If you had you'd know that all three black confederates buried in St. Augustine were musicians who played the drums or blew a bugle. Do some research and you'd find out what standard issue was for confederate musicians as well as the fact that it was a role reserved for 'boys', not men. They weren't given weapons and they weren't allowed to fight. They weren't soldiers in any meaningful way unless you choose to twist the objective truth to fit the circumstance.
You don't seem to be a bad sort Manc, but your choice of associates at FR leaves a lot to be desired. You're hanging with the southern backwash to put it mildly.
Their were no black regular soldiers in the P.A.C.S. during the Civil War. Not one black man fired a shot in anger for the Confederate side during the entire war.
