You have just opened up an old, worn out but explosive can of worms on FR ! LOL.

No Lincoln was not a dictator. He was a wartime President doing what wartime Presidents do. The fact that it was a civil war does not change this fact — the southern states themselves claimed to be a separate nation.

BS. The southern states not only claimed to be a separate nation, they were one, they had every right to secede from the Union, the rights given to them by God, the same rights that led to the revolution, allowed them to do so. Lincoln and the boys STARTED the war by pushing the south until they boiled over. Had he left the south alone, there woudl have been no war. This same tactic can be seen today in the way Bozo keeps pushing the conservatives of this country.

Anyone with a clear head, one that contains a brain, should see that Lincoln was a tyrant, a man obsessed with holding the Union together no matter how many people he had to kill to do so.

“War president”? Where does the Constitution allow even a “war president” to suspend the Constitution??? The Constitution has no OFF Switch, not even during war. Our unalienable rights are exactly that!!
