Funny how that one short line is still so timeless and relevant, no matter the gender or argument, is it not?

A case can made for the opposite when somebody _just can’t let it alone_ and go do/be something useful after a few posts.
What you wrote reminds me of an “ancient” Usenet flame war “rule”:
“Whoever posts the next-to-last post, ~wins~”....:)
The wise Usenet warriors of old knew that it was far more rewarding [amusing?] to forego getting the desperate “last word” in and to simply cease to reply, leaving your “opponent” foolishly, nay, expectantly twisting in the wind.
