HDOH has its own rules to follow and can not used “implied consent” to release them. its not like a search warrant. For example, Reagan got shot and waved from his hospital bed. So, we all know he got shot and is in hospital for a gunshot wound. Doesn’t mean the hospital can release his medical records to whoever. Reagan, though, can give a copy to whoever he wants.

parsy, who hasn’t been shot, yet, but has had Close Encounters of the Third Kind with cast iron skillets

I agree with what you have said, however, if Regan had made his records available to reporters, then reporters called the hospital to see if these were the accurate records, they would confirm that. HDOH hasn't even come close to saying that what is posted online is even accurate. All they have done is put a representative out there to say they have seen the recordS, and that he was born in Hawaii. Well thats nice and all, but means nothing. Reporters, citizens, congressmen name who you like, no one has gotten Hawaii to confirm that the COLB that is online and pointed to by Obama as being real, IS REAL, and that the information that is on it is accurate. Not a peep. We don't have anything other than a picture of a document to go on, and you cannot prove one way or another that a picture of a thing actually IS what it appears to be. Take a dollar bill, copy it on a high-resolution color copier, cut it out, then paste it onto a stiffer piece of paper, take a picture of it. That picture will look real, and you can't prove anything from it. The picture of the fake dollar might look real, but the dollar is still fake and you can't prove it. If Hawaii verified that the information ON that FactCheck COLB is accurate, that would be a different ball of wax, and if it were indeed real, then Obama himself made it available, gave it to the press etc. Its not like someone stole it and them took pictures of it and put it on the internet.... Not even close, Obama made it available. Yet somehow Hawaii is bound by privacy laws when all right to privacy regarding the document has been relinquished? No. That just does not add up. It doesn't add up at all.
