So you are saying "become President first" then worry about eligibility?

What I'm saying is that none of those involved in the political process worried about eligibility and didn't feel there was any issue regarding the matter. This resulted in Obama receiving the requisite number of votes and as per the Twelfth Amendment, President.

The House is free to impeach him and the Senate free try him and if found ineligible, remove him from office.

If Mickey Mouse got the most votes, would that make him President? If Putin got the most votes, would that make him President? If Ahnold got the most votes, would that make him President? NO! Why? THEY DON’T MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS!

Doesn't matter, he either is or is not eligible. It's not only up to those involved whether to enforce the requirements, although it would be nice if they'd at least checked, rather than taking a known liar's word for it. Several known liars actually.

If he's not eligible, he's not President.

Like Schrodinger's Cat, the wave function has not yet collapsed.
