I don't think you can get it in the states; but, if you or a friend are passing through Briton or Scotland, pick up a bottle of "Old Pulteney."

Otherwise, your Glens are all good; but, "Dalwhinnie" is hard to beat.

A suprise is "Dewar's 12 Grand Reserve." If your guests didn't see you pour it, they'd swear it was one of the Glens.

For a conversation piece, you can always serve "Sheep Dip."

Aye Lad. “Old Pulteney” from Wick. One of the better Highland Whiskies. But better yet, and I think the best of all is “Highland Park” from Kirkwall in the Orkneys.
It’s my special Wee Dram for special occasions.
