Wednesday, October 14, 2009 This video excerpt from the movie Dr. Strangelove came to mind when reading the news about our Secretary of State at the conference table with Russia. It helps to emphasise the absurdity in which they conduct foreign policy and continue to weaken the country's national security.
Hilliary Clinton and President Obama have agreed to let the Russians see the "big board." According to a Fox News report, Russia and the United States have tentatively agreed to a weapons inspection program that would allow Russians to visit nuclear sites in America to count missiles and warheads. The plan would constitute the most intrusive weapons inspection program the U.S. has ever accepted. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, said publicly Tuesday that the two nations have made "considerable" progress toward reaching agreement on a new strategic arms treaty.
Will someone please tell me what's so strategic about scraping the missile defense system, abandoning our allies, and now showing Russia what else we have just so they can confirm what they probably already know? Why don't they invite Iran and North Korea along...just make it one big party. General "Buck" Turgidson, (George C. Scott), is right about being paranoid. This might be good fare for the Nobel Peace Prize but it spells "doomsday" for the national security of our country. When Obama talked about an open and transparent government this must have been what he was referring to. He gladly opens up to foreign nations but shuts out Americans on the domestic front. I hope his Nobel Prize is worth the ruinous path he's sending America down. You can bet our new Afghanistan policy will be effected by this award.
Liz Cheney, along with Debra Burlingame and Bill Kristol have started a new web site, Keep America Safe, with the purpose of exposing the dangerous path that the Obama Administration is taking with decisions on foreign policy and national defense. In my worst nightmares I could never fathom something this terrible taking place. I do hope that, like the Dubai ports deal, this is publicized and STOPPED.

What’s this idiOt trying to do, provoke an uprising or something? He HAS to know the people of America have a breaking point. Is he just pushing and pushing so that when we finally do take a stand for our nation’s survival he’ll have an excuse to declare war on Americans?
