I found that on Google scholar in a book called "East African Doctors: A History of the Modern Profession" by John Iliffe. Unfortunately the whole chapter on Kenyan doctors is not available.
There are copies in libraries but all are located quite a distance from me.

Got into that book the other evening. DId a search of it. The Dr is mentioned on three different pages.
