How his name should be spelled and how his mother spelled it are two different things. Maybe Stanley didn’t know any better. Remember she was American and Americans would use the BaraCk spelling if they didn’t know any better
Or the clerk was English/AMerican trained...I misspelled Gemsbok at lest four times the other night...Gemsbock just fell out of my fingers....really had to concentrate to type it correctly....It was a teaching moment.
