Accounts I read had Lolo penniless and living on Stanley Ann’s charity at the end of his life. She arranged to have him admitted to a hospital before he died. I don’t think he had money, unless he had hidden it all these years in secret bank accounts.

I haven't seen or read anything to indicate that Lolo was "penniless." There was one mention of Ann helping him to get admitted to a US hospital (in California, I believe) for treatment, but that was offered by way of illustrating how the two remained friends after the divorce.

Do you have a link to the "penniless" reference?

No, no link. I read it a long time ago and it could have been just as you say. I might have “inferred” the penniless part. It could have been in Jerone Corsi’s book, the Obama Nation. I’ll see if I can find it.
