Has Maya’s COLB been published? If Maya were born in Indonesia she would be a U.S. citizen through Stanley Ann not because of the Hawaiian certification of live birth which is not authoritative at all to prove citizenship.

I think I have seen it somewhere--I believe Polarik posted it although that is only my memory which might be incorrect.

With respect to Maya, the issue isn't citizenship--it's how she gets a certificate of birth from Hawaii showing she is born there when she was really born in Indonesia.

Of course we all know that is not uncommon in other states nor contrary to Hawaii law either; any adoption or other child rights case, the court can tell the department of health in many states to show birth in one state when it really occurred somewhere else.
