Got her drunk????? Why do you think he would have to get her drunk??? She was not exactly a paragon of virtue. She looks totally sober to me.

Who says she was not a paragon of virtue at 17? There was nothing in her background at Mercer Island HS to suggest that. She was a radical in her thoughts and politics, but she didn’t even date, according to her friends.

There is nothing in her background that we know of to suggest that she would just drop her clothes and pose for degrading photos on a lark. 17 was underage for drinking in most states. Drugs (other than alcohol) were not prevalent in the US in 1960 — Frank Marshall Davis might be the exception, however. FMD was older, experienced, and had hung around with sleazy characters all his life. He might have had access to drugs and the knowledge of how to use them in a seduction. After all, he wrote a book about it!
