Human gestation is considered to be 280 days.
Well, I said in the post it was a little tight.
Taking off only my shoes it looks to me as though Oct. 30 to August 3 (US birth date for his birth on August 4 in Kenya) would get you 276 days--so I suppose my calculation of October 26 is defensible (think I said "late October").
We know several August births we think were conceived in October (one in particular we know for certain) which is why I said that before I took my shoes off. The process is of course a little uncertain as is usually the start date.
