According to health record statistics, there were 8 births of children in 1961 not attended by a doctor, nurse or mid-wife in Honolulu County, Hawai’i.

looking at table 3-1 (3-14 page 157) its confusing between Honolulu city and county rest of county etc but Hawaii state on the whole shows 100 not attended of 17,516.
92 in Honolulu the numbers dont add up for me.

I wouldn't have a clue as to where to start. Don't we have FReepers in Hawaii that could help us out? We used to have a way to look at State lists on this site, but I haven't done that in years. Don't know if it is still possible. Am at work right now, I'll get back to you after I'm home.
